The incident that occurred this morning at around 11.50 at the Caviro EXTRA facility in Faenza, which is dedicated to the transformation and storage of by-products from the winemaking and agri-food industries, caused no victims or injuries, and there have been no leaks.
This site, located in the Ravenna area, is one of the main CAVIRO Group facilities, along with the Forlì site, which was not affected by the accident and will continue with its normal wine packaging operations.
Immediately after the explosion, all emergency management and site evacuation procedures were activated, and within a few minutes, all workers and other people present on site were taken to safety.
